Mike Buryk will open a new exhibit with the art of the Ukrainian social realist artist Nicholas Bervinchak on Sunday, March 10th, at 1 PM at the Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum in Scranton, Pa. A new Bervinchak art exhibit “Hard Coal, Hard Times: The Social Realist Art of Nicholas Bervinchak” opened at The Ukrainian Institute of America in New York City on Friday, September 28th. An exhibit of Bervinchak's etchings, photos of his church art along with actual murals from the recently closed St. George church in Minersville and memorabilia will take place in the library gallery of the Ukrainian Historical and Educational Center of NJ this Fall.  The exhibit will open on Saturday, October 15th, from 1-5 PM and include a talk by guest curator Mike Buryk at 3 PM.  It will continue until Thursday, November 10th.  Regular hours are:  Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 AM – 5 PM and Saturday from Noon – 5 PM.
